School Closure Waiver Application for Dropout Prevention and Recovery Community Schools
Under Ohio Revised Code (ORC) 3314.36, a community school that serves a majority of its students through a dropout prevention and recovery program may apply for a waiver from closure, provided the school meets criteria necessary to qualify for the waiver. Conversion Community School Data Roll-Up Exclusion
Under Ohio Revised Code (ORC) 3302.02(C)(6)(a), the traditional public school district sponsor of a community school that serves a majority of its students through a dropout prevention and recovery program may apply for an exception from having the community school’s academic performance data rolled up into its sponsor Local Report Card.
