The Office of Transforming Schools administers the School Improvement Grant 1003g (SIG). This grant is focused upon providing support and oversight to build the capacity of districts/schools to engage in inclusive, continuous, and targeted improvement in order to raise student achievement that is sustainable. In FY11, eight Transformation Specialists guided 41 identified SIG buildings through the implementation and monitoring of one of four intervention models. In FY 12, eight ODE Transformation Specialists and 5 ONET Specialists guided 85 identified SIG buildings through the implementation and monitoring of one of four intervention modes. |
