College Credit Plus for 2019-2020 school year

4/1/2019

Students who plan to take part in College Credit Plus need to begin the notification process for the 2019-2020 school year. Nonpublic and home-school parents and students must log in to their SAFE accounts to complete the entire application process for College Credit Plus course funding before April 12, 2019, at 5 p.m.

As a reminder, public high school students are required to notify their principals of their intent to take part in the College Credit Plus program by April 1, even if they participated in an earlier College Credit Plus program year.

Nonpublic and home-school students must send their letters of intent to participate to the Ohio Department of Education, 25 S. Front St., Columbus, OH 43215, or email them to CCPintentletter@education.ohio.gov by April 1.

College Credit Plus offers Ohio students the opportunity to earn high school and college credit simultaneously. Students can take college classes offered by any Ohio public colleges or universities or any participating private colleges at their high schools, on college or university campuses, or online. The program allows students to explore college interests sooner and earn college credits toward a degree before graduating. It is free to families when students take courses offered by Ohio public colleges and universities.
