K-12 teacher training day offered as part of 2019 Society for Military History Annual Meeting


Take part in a teacher training day on Saturday, May 11, sponsored by the Society for Military History, The Ohio State University and the Ohio History Connection. 
In addition to other sessions, K-12 teachers can choose from a variety of panels or roundtables on topics such as:

  • Soldiers and the Question of Inequality;
  • Living in the Cauldron of the World Wars;
  • The American War for Independence; and
  • Reconsidered: Leadership, Discipline, and Divided Families.
 Event registration is open. The cost is $150 and includes lunch. Participants will receive certificates for seven contact hours and are invited to attend the night’s keynote by The Ohio State University Professor Geoffrey Parker, Is the Military Revolution Dead Yet?
