Plan to attend: Spring conference for the Ohio Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development


The Ohio ASCD spring conference will take place on May 2 at the Xenos Conference Center in Columbus. The conference theme, Exploring What Is Working — Examining Tools, Resources, and Supports for SEL, will focus on strategies and programs that are successfully addressing the social and emotional learning needs of Ohio students.
Dr. Antoinette Miranda, professor of the School Psychology program at The Ohio State University and a member of the State Board of Education, will be the keynote speaker. Conference participants will choose from breakout sessions presented by teachers, administrators and mental health professionals who are working to meet the social-emotional learning needs of students and their families throughout the state.
