Students can register now for OSD and OSSB summer camps
The Ohio School for the Deaf and the Ohio State School for the Blind are taking registrations for summer camps. Camp themes are age appropriate. The schools will fill openings on a first come, first served basis.
The Ohio School for the Deaf summer camps are open to any Ohio student who is deaf or hard of hearing. They will be held at the Ohio School for the Deaf in Columbus. This year’s camps will offer a variety of hands-on experiences, including Lego robotics basic and advanced, STEAM, core academic skills and more. The cost for each camp is $25. The school must receive registration and payment by May 2.
Ohio State School for the Blind summer camps are open to blind or visually impaired Ohio students. These are residential camps, unless otherwise noted in the camp description. Camp offerings include STEM—Aeronautics, Volcano: Hot Braille, Art Around the World and more. The cost for each camp is $25. The registration deadline is June 1.
