Call for presenters: 2021 OLAC Action Forum and PBIS Showcase
With a shared vision for building the capacity of those who lead, teach and serve students in Ohio’s schools and beyond, the Department is excited to continue the Ohio Leadership Advisory Council (OLAC) and Ohio Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Network partnership to host a joint event this year. On Dec. 9, this one-day, virtual conference will combine the best of the OLAC Action Forum and Ohio PBIS Showcase.
This year’s event theme is Responsive, Reimagined and Resilient Leadership. OLAC and the Department are seeking presenters to share their work regarding collaborative teams and PBIS leadership teams. Presentation teams will share the impact of this work on all learners — students and adults. Sessions will focus on three strands:
- Leading, learning and connecting in all learning environments;
- Supporting the whole child, including trauma-informed practice and students’ social-emotional well-being; and
- Ensuring equitable learning opportunities.
All learning sessions will be prerecorded before the event. Presenters may be asked to participate in a live chat Dec. 9 during a scheduled time. More conference details will be available soon.
Submit a proposal using this online submission form by Sept. 10. Visit the OLAC website to learn more.
