SROs and School Administrators: Strategies for an Effective Work Relationship, Sept. 17


Start off the school year by learning how to bridge the gap between school resource officers (SROs) and administrators to create a true working partnership. Learn to:

  • Create a better working relationship between school administrators and SROs;
  • Define roles in the schools;
  • Understand conflict management techniques when disagreements occur;
  • Apply practical tips for handling difficult situations;
  • Apply best practices to various school scenarios; and
  • Review tools and techniques for making positive changes.
Training is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Lakota East High School in Middletown. The cost is $30 for Ohio School Resource Officers Association members and $67 for nonmembers. Additional class details and registration are available on the OSROA website.
