Data appeal window now open for early learning and child outcome data

From Aug. 20 through Aug. 29, superintendents of traditional districts, community schools, STEM districts and educational service centers can review early learning and child outcome summary data reported in EMIS during the 2017-2018 school year.
Superintendents can submit a data appeal in cases where their reported data was inaccurate. Submit appeals by Aug. 29, as described here, using the Forms application in SAFE:

  • 2018 Data Appeal for Early Learning Assessments; and/or
  • 2018 Data Appeal for Child Outcome Summary Assessment.
The superintendent, EMIS coordinator and superintendent designee can complete the data appeal form, but the submission process is not complete until the superintendent or designee approves the form.
For answers to questions about data appeals, contact the Department’s Office of Data Quality.
