Register for Adapted Physical Education Workshop 2019
Educators interested in learning more about adapted physical education may want to attend a free, hands-on workshop on Monday, Oct. 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Ohio State School for the Blind in Columbus.
During the session, each attendee will teach other participants a lesson plan he or she developed. A group discussion will follow. Active engagement is a must for the workshop. Each participant will be expected to submit a lesson plan, in advance, for inclusion in a workbook for all attendees.
To take part, register by Monday, Sept. 30, in STARS using the OH|ID portal (formerly SAFE). Be sure to include a current email address so you will receive a lesson plan form. Registration is limited to 50 participants. The event sponsor, Ohio State School for the Blind, will host the event at its campus at 5220 N. High St., Columbus 43214.
