Final reminder: Complete the 2017-2018 diabetes survey by Dec. 31

The Ohio Department of Education reminds districts to complete the state’s 2017-2018 student diabetes survey on the Department’s website by Dec. 31. Ohio law requires each school district to report to the Department annually the number of students with diabetes enrolled in the district during the prior school year. Each district also must report the number of errors that occurred in administering diabetes medications to students during the same period.
 
All public districts and chartered nonpublic schools must complete the survey. Non-chartered, nonpublic schools do not have to complete the survey.
