Severe weather poster contest open to students in grades 1-6
The Ohio Committee for Severe Weather Awareness is sponsoring a poster contest for students in grades 1-6. Entries should demonstrate the actions students can take before, during and after severe weather events to protect themselves and others.
Schools have until April 16 to select a first-place poster contest winner from each grade and submit the posters to their regional National Weather Service offices. The Severe Weather Awareness Committee will judge the regional winners to determine state and overall winners by the end of May. For complete rules and participation forms, click here.
