Understanding Each Child, Our Future: An introduction to our upcoming series

Each Child, Our Future is Ohio’s five-year strategic plan to ensure each student enjoys a bright future thanks to an excellent preK-12 education experience. More than 150 Ohio-based partners helped develop Each Child, Our Future, along with feedback from 1,200 Ohio parents, caregivers, preK-12 and postsecondary educators, employers, business leaders, community members, state legislators and students. Nominations open for assessment committees related to Ohio’s State Tests

The Ohio Department of Education now is accepting applications for participants to serve on three types of assessment committees tied to Ohio’s State Tests in English language arts, mathematics, science and social studies.

Data appeal window open for 2018 career-technical education assessments data

Through Friday, Dec. 14, superintendents of any districts or community schools offering career-technical education can review the career-technical education assessment data reported in EMIS during the 2018 school year. A superintendent who finds inaccurate data should submit an appeal by the Dec. 14 deadline using the 2018 Data Appeal for CTE Assessment. This is available in the Forms application in SAFE.
