Free national professional learning to support school districts during biennial review of career advising policies
Just in time for career advising policy biennial reviews, American Student Assistance, the Coalition for Career Development Center and the Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL) will provide school administrators, district leaders and career readiness professionals an opportunity to work with others across the nation as they analyze career advising policies and create plans for the implementation of equitable and inclusive career readiness practices, policies and outcome indicators. As the start of the 2020-2021 biennial review begins, policy revisions should be completed, reviewed and approved by local boards of education and posted on district websites by Sept. 30, 2021.
