Celebrate Career-Technical Education month

February is Career-Technical Education month. Career-technical education is an educational option that gives students in grades 7-12 the academic and technical skills, knowledge and training they need to succeed in future careers and lifelong learning. Ohio’s career-tech system is organized into 16 career fields, with many career pathway options.
Join the celebration by sharing more about your career-tech programs using #CareerTechOhio and #MyOhioClassroom on social media.
Learn more about how career-technical education prepares learners for their futures while closing the skills gap for employers. To connect to existing career-technical education programs in your area or learn about new programs, visit the Department’s website.
