OSROA offering workshop on lessons learned from an active shooter scenario

The Ohio School Resource Officers Association is offering the workshop, Active Shooter: Lessons Learned from Madison High School for SROs and School Administrators, April 26 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Hilliard.

At Ohio’s Madison Junior and Senior High School, SRO Kent Hall heard gun shots coming from the school cafeteria. Several students were lying on the floor and one student was sprinting out of the lunch room. Hear from SRO Hall and Superintendent Curtis Philpot about what happened that day, including what went right, what could have happened differently and the valuable lessons school personnel learned.
