Severe weather poster contest open to students in grades 1-6
The Ohio Committee for Severe Weather Awareness is sponsoring a poster contest for students in grades 1-6. Entries should demonstrate the actions students can take before, during and after severe weather events to protect themselves and others. Schools conduct the contest and select first-place winners for each grade.
April 15 is the deadline for each school to submit first-place posters to its regional National Weather Service office. The weather service will announce the regional winners by the end of May. For complete rules and forms, click here.
