FY18 career-technical education concentrator data appeal window now open
Superintendents of traditional districts, community schools and joint vocational school districts required to report career-technical education follow-up data in EMIS can review the students included in their 2018 March (D) lists from Monday, Jan. 29 through Friday, Feb. 23. If they find their lists incorrect because of misreporting of concentrator data in EMIS, they can find instructions here to submit an appeal by the deadline. Please use the form in SAFE titled 2018 Data Appeal for CTE March Concentrators.
This is the only opportunity to update the students on the March (D) list. Districts will be able to appeal placement and assessment data during the March (D) appeal process after March (D) closes. However, there will be no changes to the list of students after the Feb. 23 deadline.
District superintendents, EMIS coordinators and superintendent designees have access to the appeal form. However, the Department does not consider the form official until the district superintendent completes the approval process.
Contact the Office of Data Quality with questions about the data appeals process.
