Data appeal window open for Dropout Prevention and Recovery Assessment data
From Tuesday, July 9, through Tuesday, July 16, superintendents of dropout prevention and recovery schools should review MAP assessment data reported in EMIS. If results are incorrect due to inaccurately reported MAP data, superintendents should submit appeals by the July 16 deadline, as described here, using the “2019 Data Appeal for DORP Assessments” form via the OH|ID portal.
The Ohio Department of Education will collect updated MAP assessment data from schools with approved appeals through 5 p.m., Monday, July 22. Schools should submit data appeals before the July 16 deadline, since submitting these appeals early will give schools more time to resubmit corrected data.
The superintendent, EMIS coordinator and superintendent designee have access to the data appeal form. The Department does not consider a completed form to be officially submitted, however, until the superintendent or designee approves it.
