Data appeal window now open for early learning, child outcome summary and OELPA assessment data
From July 17 through July 26, superintendents of traditional districts, community schools, STEM districts and educational service centers (ESC) can review early learning, child outcome summary and Ohio English language proficiency (OELPA) assessment data reported in EMIS during the 2016-2017 school year. They can submit data appeals in cases where reported data is inaccurate.
A superintendent who has inaccurate data should submit an appeal by the July 26 deadline, as described here, using these forms within the Forms application in SAFE:
- 2017 Data Appeal for Early Learning Assessments;
- 2017 Data Appeal for Child Outcome Summary Assessment; and/or
- 2017 Data Appeal for OELPA.
The superintendent, treasurer, EMIS coordinator and superintendent designee can complete the data appeal form, but the submission process is not complete until the superintendent or designee approves the form.
