Ohio libraries announce free access to LinkedIn’s online training platform and courses with Lynda.com
Beginning Sept. 1, online courses from Lynda.com will be available free to Ohioans with a valid Ohio library card. The Ohio Library Council (OLC) and Ohio Public Library Information Network (OPLIN) are partnering with LinkedIn to provide this first-of-its-kind collaboration.
Lynda.com lets users learn business, technology, software and creative skills through 12,000 video courses. Industry experts teach the courses that are designed for any skill level. Ohio library cardholders can access the courses from any computer with an internet connection by entering their library card numbers and four-digit PINs. To find a local library, visit the OPLIN website.
