Submit your district selection of ACT or SAT between Aug. 15 and Sept. 14
Administration of state-sponsored college and career readiness tests will be in spring 2019. Juniors will take whichever college and career readiness test your district chooses.
On Aug. 15, each district will receive a survey link it can use to indicate its choice of the ACT or SAT to administer to the class of 2019. Your district must either confirm that it will give the same test it gave in spring 2018 or choose another test for this school year.
Chartered nonpublic schools that decide not to administer the state-sponsored ACT or SAT in spring 2019 should indicate so in the survey. They need to take no further action.
Again, the survey will be open until Sept. 14. For the facts you will need to make this important choice, such as test dates, see recorded presentations from SAT and ACT.
The SAT vendor will contact applicable districts starting in early October. The ACT vendor will contact applicable districts starting in early November. Districts that will administer the tests online must become vendor-approved testing sites according to steps outlined on each vendor’s website for Ohio.
Please direct questions about the survey to Michael Reiser at (614) 644-7305.
