Culturally Responsive Practice Program: Facilitator training opportunity

Changing state demographics mean that children and families are bringing greater cultural diversity into the classroom. This is bringing about a need for personalized learning and differentiated instruction that is culturally relevant. Culturally responsive practice is an approach recognizing and encompassing this need.
A free facilitator training, to be held July 30, is available for individuals interested in using the Culturally Responsive Practices Program locally. The program, coming this fall, will help educators implement culturally responsive practices across Ohio schools and classrooms. The training includes four online learning courses for individuals or professional learning groups.
Registration for this facilitator training is limited. The event will take place at the Delaware County Board of Developmental Disabilities in Lewis Center from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration is available here.
