Reminder: Confirm or submit your district profile link for Ohio School Report Cards by June 30

The Ohio Department of Education offers school districts, community schools and Career Technical Planning Districts the opportunity to submit links to webpages that describe their unique qualities and successes. The links appear on districts’ annual Ohio School Report Cards. Any district that intends to set up a profile page for this year’s report card must submit a URL for that link by June 30. 
 
Visitors use these profile websites to learn more about their districts’ characteristics and accomplishments. Last year, districts submitted web links through Cherwell, but district profile links now reside in the Ohio Educational Directory System (OEDS). This will allow districts to update their web addresses as needed.
 
Users can access the links by logging in to OEDS through the OH|ID portal (formerly SAFE) and viewing the Organization Identity box under the header, District’s Profile Page. Superintendents should review their links now to make sure they are correct and that the web content associated with them is still relevant. Districts can make changes to the information in OEDS any time during the year.
 
Districts and community schools can submit their links for 2019 profile pages now. Submitting a link continues to be optional for all districts and community schools. Only web addresses are needed by June 30 for profile pages for this year’s report cards. The design of district profile webpages does not have to be completed by that date. The Department will release Ohio School Report Cards in mid-September, and districts should complete their webpages by then.
