STEM Center hosting workshops on engineering curriculum July 29-Aug. 3

The STEM Center for Teaching and Learning will once again host two Engineering by Design workshops for Ohio teachers July 29-Aug. 3 at Olentangy Liberty High School in Delaware County. The five-day courses are geared toward high school (Foundations of Technology) and middle school educators (Exploring Technology). Course details are available here.

Global Teacher Institute offers summer workshops on innovation Aug.1 and 2

The Educational Service Center of Cuyahoga County is offering the one-day Global Teacher Institute –Fostering Innovation in Education Aug. 1 and 2. The workshop will cover international issues, world cultures and languages, and local and global resources to enhance teacher preparation and student success in the global knowledge economy. Keynote presenters and experts from education, business and community organizations will share innovative practices and local and global resources for teaching and learning.
