We need your opinion: Public comment open on Ohio’s Career-Technical Education Content Standards for Construction Technologies
The Ohio Department of Education has a plan for keeping Ohio’s Career-Technical Content Standards current with employers’ changing needs so our students are always learning the industry skills they need for careers and college. This year, the Department is revising Ohio’s construction technologies standards.
The Department is asking for survey input from educators, community members and, above all, industry professionals. Please complete this survey by June 29 for the standards in the career field or fields most relevant to your work. Your review will help the Department make sure the standards are clearly written, industry relevant, in sync with what students will learn in postsecondary programs and aligned with industry credential requirements.
Upon closing of the survey, an advisory committee of education and industry leaders will use the feedback to select standards for review. A working group of subject matter experts for each area will make the proposed revisions and return them to the advisory committee.
