Drug use prevention resource guide offered by the Ohio Attorney General’s office
Thousands of Ohioans die each year from unintended overdoses. Children who witness drug abuse are more likely to use drugs as adults, which can prevent them from achieving their full potential.
Prevention education helps children develop the knowledge and skills they need to live healthy lives. Effective prevention helps students stay drug-free and make healthy choices for a lifetime, but it also can help students succeed academically. To help schools develop comprehensive prevention services, the Ohio Attorney General’s office is offering a resource guide. The online document walks school leaders through each facet of prevention education. Find the guide on the Ohio Attorney General's website.
