Kids eat free with the Summer Food Service Program! The program provides meals and snacks to kids throughout Ohio, and you can help by applying to be a program sponsor or serving site. Organizations interested in becoming Summer Food Service Program sponsors or sites should complete the Ohio Department of Education’s Summer Food Service Program potential sponsor survey.

The Appalachian Regional Commission encourages all middle and high school students interested in math, science and technology to apply for the commission’s 2019 Appalachian Regional Commission/Oak Ridge National Laboratory Summer STEM Program. Nomination deadline extended for the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching

The National Science Foundation has extended the nomination deadline for the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) program to April 1, 2019. The teacher application deadline remains May 1. The award is the highest honor bestowed by the United States government for the teaching of grades 7-12 science, technology, engineering, mathematics and computer science.
