OhioMeansJobs K-12 registration available in April
As part of the enhanced OhioMeansJobs website, the customized portal, OhioMeansJobs K-12, will offer comprehensive, career-development tools, online training and resources specifically for students and teachers. This initiative supports the governor’s priorities around making more connections between education and careers, increasing access and awareness to multiple pathway options and re-engaging students based on their career interests.

OhioMeansJobs K-12 will begin early registration in April and students can create an online account. In September, the system will be fully functional and offer a comprehensive career planning experience. For additional information, visit Career Connections or contact Carolyn George at (614) 995-5042.

These educators may be considered for membership on advisory boards and task forces, as well as candidates for special recognition programs. This year, the state is accepting teacher recommendations for Grades K-5, now through May 16, 2014. For further information, please visit Ohio Talent Pool.
