Applications open for Expanding Opportunities for Each Child grants

The Ohio Department of Education is offering a second round of the Expanding Opportunities for Each Child grant. This will be a three-year grant to expand access to advanced coursework for low-income students by developing career pathways and Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate course opportunities. Districts can apply for individual grants for up to $250,000, depending on a district’s chosen area of focus.
Interested applicants should upload completed applications in the Comprehensive Continuous Improvement Plan (CCIP) for FY 2019 in the competitive funding application titled Expanding Opportunities for EACHCHILD (DSS).
Districts and schools interested in applying can find more information on the Department's website. Applications are due to the Department by 5 p.m. on April 4, 2019. For questions or feedback, please contact Thomas Capretta, Direct Student Services coordinator, at (614) 752-1615.
