Learn more about the OhioMeansJobs-Readiness Seal

The OhioMeansJobs-Readiness Seal is gaining ground as more students recognize the lifetime benefits of developing essential professional skills early. Ohio high school students can earn recognition by showing they are prepared to contribute to the workplace and their communities.
The OhioMeansJobs-Readiness Seal is a formal designation students can earn on their high school diplomas and transcripts indicating they have the personal strengths, strong work ethic and professional experience that businesses need. The seal is a choice that can help students meet the Option 1 pathway to graduation for the classes of 2019 and 2020. As an important part of the Student Success Plan, the OhioMeansJobs-Readiness Seal guides both students and their mentors through the development of 15 professional skills essential to success in the workplace and life.
Interested districts and schools should visit SuccessBound.ohio.gov. Districts also can designate an OhioMeansJobs Readiness Seal administrator in the Ohio Educational Directory System (OEDS).
