Charter Schools Program subgrant intent to apply deadline is May 27
After reviewing the eligibility requirements for the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Charter Schools Program subgrant competition on the Department's website, interested, eligible community schools must submit an intent to apply by May 27.
The 2020-2021 request for application will be posted on the Charter Schools Program webpage. The Department will accept applications in the Comprehensive Continuous Improvement Plan (CCIP) system from June 1 through June 29. The Department will host a virtual training on May 28 to help potential applicants learn more about each grant. Find the details here.
The Ohio Charter Schools Program Implementation and Planning grant strives to increase the number of high-performing community schools and percentage of community school students enrolled in high-performing schools. The Expansion grant strives to increase the number of already existing high-quality community schools that are expanding courses and programs, significantly increasing enrollment or adding grade levels.
