Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate Fee Reimbursement Program

The Ohio Department of Education’s Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate Fee Reimbursement Program provides financial support for low-income students taking advanced placement and international baccalaureate exams. The program is intended to open accessibility, increase participation of low-income students in academically-rigorous coursework in public and nonpublic schools, and narrow economic achievement gaps. Additionally, the program assists school districts with high numbers of minority and low-income students in transforming their high schools into educational institutions where all students can be successful and prepared for a global economy and postsecondary education or certification. The department is committed to expanding advanced placement and international baccalaureate opportunities with an emphasis on addressing the needs of low-income students.
