Reminder: Complete the 2017-2018 diabetes survey by Dec. 31
The Ohio Department of Education reminds districts to complete the 2017-2018 diabetes survey on the Department’s website by Dec. 31. Ohio law requires each school district to report to the Department annually its school nurse data showing the number of students with diabetes enrolled in the district during the prior school year. Each district also must report the number of errors that occurred in administering diabetes medications to students during the same period.
All public districts and chartered nonpublic schools must complete the survey. Non-chartered, nonpublic schools are not required to complete the survey.
