Partner with the Blue Jackets in supporting the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation, Dec. 5
Join the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation on Tuesday, Dec. 5, for Mental Health Awareness Night with the Blue Jackets. A portion of the Columbus Blue Jackets vs. New Jersey Devils ticket sales will be donated to the foundation to help raise awareness and support suicide prevention organizations and resources.
A free suicide prevention training event — appropriate for any adult in Ohio — is planned before the 7 p.m. hockey game. Interested individuals can take part in a 45-minute Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training from 5:30-6:15 p.m. at Nationwide Arena. Barb Smith, executive director of Survivors of Suicide and an ASIST Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Master Trainer will conduct the session.
Please show your support for positive mental health and the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation by purchasing tickets to the game and signing up to take part in the pre-game training.
