Four Ohio Teachers receive Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching

The Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching program recently recognized four Ohio teachers. The awards are the highest the United States government bestows on educators who teach K-12 science, technology, engineering, mathematics or computer science — or some combination of the subjects. The awards note teachers’ deep content knowledge and ability to motivate and empower students to succeed in their subject areas.

Consolidated School Report Survey open Nov. 1-30

Ohio Law requires all public school districts, including joint vocational school districts, to report annually on a specified set of data to the Ohio Department of Education through the Consolidated School Report Survey. This fall is the first time the Department has been required to collect the data in one data-collection tool.
