The state-funded college and career readiness testing process for the 2018-2019 school year is kicking off, and district test coordinators should begin identifying building test coordinators, accommodations/supports coordinators and technology coordinators, as well as determining those who will administer the tests in the spring of 2019.

Earning 12 points of industry-recognized credentials and a WorkKeys score of 13 is one of three ways to earn a high school diploma. When students earn industry-recognized credentials, schools and districts get credit on the Ohio School Report Cards for their success in preparing students for careers. The process of earning industry-recognized credentials allows students to experience education through work, about work and for work. Students learn more deeply by practicing and applying their knowledge through work and employment experience.
