Complete the 2017-2018 diabetes survey by Dec. 31

The Ohio Department of Education reminds districts and schools to complete the 2017-2018 diabetes survey, located on the Department website, by Dec. 31. Ohio law requires each school district to report annually to the Department its school nurse data on the number of students with diabetes enrolled in the district or school during the prior school year. Each district or school also must report the number of errors that occurred in administering diabetes medications to students during the same period.
 
All public districts, community schools and chartered nonpublic schools must complete the survey. Non-chartered, nonpublic schools are not required to complete the survey.
