Stakeholder feedback: Ohio’s Plan to Improve Learning Experiences and Outcomes for Students with Disabilities
The Ohio Department of Education has engaged Ohioans throughout 2019 with the goal of hearing directly the thoughts of parents and school district personnel who support students with disabilities. The Department has reached stakeholder groups through a targeted statewide survey, focus groups with teachers, family town halls and student meetings.
With nearly 7,500 people engaged so far, the Department already has published reports on information collected. Thank you to everyone who took part. The Department will use the information to craft a plan strategically aimed at improving learning experiences and outcomes for students with disabilities. For more information on the timeline for the plan and the groups creating it, visit the Department’s webpage.
