Computer science workshops for administrators and school counselors coming this fall
Computer science opens more doors for students than any other discipline in today’s world. Learning even the basics will help students in virtually any career. Battelle is partnering with Code.org, a nonprofit computer science curriculum provider, to offer two trainings this fall specifically designed for school and district administrators and school guidance counselors.
The workshops, hosted at Battelle, will prepare school staff to support computer science in classrooms. One session will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 26. A second session is offered Nov. 16 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided. Registration is required.
