Department hosts virtual Manufacturing Day celebration

Join the Department for a virtual Manufacturing (MFG) Day celebration and get a closer look at manufacturing in Ohio. The celebration will include a virtual tour of Modular Assembly Innovations and interviews with industry professionals and high school students currently enrolled in manufacturing programs in Ohio.

The event will be live Oct. 1 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. via Microsoft Teams. Click here to join the meeting. This event is open to students, parents, guidance counselors and anyone interested in learning about high-tech career opportunities in manufacturing.

Held annually on the first Friday in October, with events that continue throughout the month, MFG Day helps show the reality of modern manufacturing careers by encouraging thousands of companies and educational institutions around the nation to open their doors to students, parents, teachers and community leaders. As manufacturers seek to fill 4 million high-skill, high-tech and high-paying jobs over the next decade, MFG Day empowers manufacturers to come together to address their collective challenges so they can help their communities and future generations thrive.
