Still time to register for the 2017 School Garden Conference
Register now for the fifth annual School Garden Conference, Friday, Oct. 13, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center on the Columbus campus of The Ohio State University. The event cost is $60 and includes lunch. If your district requires an invoice to create a purchase order for your registration, please contact Sue Hogan before the end of September.
This year’s speaker topics include steps to starting a school garden, drones in the school garden, seed saving in the classroom garden, yoga in the garden, farm to school, marketing and your school garden, horticulture in the classroom, assorted gardening methods, pesticide education for teachers, root vegetables and more!
