Livestream forum offers students chance to talk jobs with Ohio’s next governor

What do students want to know about job development plans from Ohio’s next governor? Both major party candidates for governor on the November ballot, Democrat Richard Cordray and Republican Mike DeWine, will be answering questions about education, jobs and the future of work in Ohio through a livestream on Thursday, Oct. 4 starting at 12:30 p.m. The Talking Jobs with Ohio’s Next Governor forum is presented by WOSU Public Media and the Corporate for Public Broadcasting American Graduate Initiative.

Specifically intended for young people ages 16-26, #TalkJobsOH will invite students and young job-seekers across the state to submit questions and hear first-hand about the issues that will affect their futures. Each candidate will have a separate conversation with the host, and each candidate will have approximately 45 minutes to answer questions asked by the online and studio audience.

The interactive livestream will be available at wosu.org/talkjobs or visit the WOSU website for additional streaming options, question submission information and resources for developing candidate questions.
