Register now for the CyberOhio Capture the Flag Challenge!
High school students are invited to break, hack, decrypt or do whatever it takes to capture the flag in this free cybersecurity competition on Saturday, Sept. 29 in Columbus from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Ohio Attorney General’s Office and The Ohio State University teamed up for this event to promote interest in the fields of information security and computer science.
Technical experience is not necessary and students without any background in cybersecurity are encouraged to attend to learn more about the field.
Teams and individual high school students may register. Teams (3-4 students) will need one faculty or parent sponsor. Sponsors may register teams here. Individual students can register and will be considered for open spots on existing teams. Teams will use Wi-Fi during the competition, and teams must provide their own computers.
Please note, registering for the event does not guarantee admission. Teams selected to participate in the 2018 Capture the Flag Challenge will be notified on Sept. 22. Competition and registration details are available on the Ohio Attorney General’s website.
