100% Tobacco-Free School District Toolkit available

The Ohio Department of Health’s Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Program released an updated 100% Tobacco-Free School District Toolkit. School districts can use the toolkit for guidance on adopting, communicating and enforcing a tobacco-free policy.

Apply for the Ohio Early Childhood Inclusive Leadership Fellowship by April 21

The Department is accepting applications through April 21 for the third cohort of early childhood professionals working with children birth through grade 3 with disabilities. Public school administrators currently working in Columbus City, Akron Public, Dayton City or Zanesville City school districts or in early intervention or other child-serving programs in Franklin, Summit, Montgomery or Muskingum county may submit applications. This is a two-year opportunity that will build participants’ leadership and knowledge around inclusion and supporting young children with disabilities.
