The Department regularly posts rules for public comment. Currently, the Department does not have any rules open for comment. Check the Department’s website as new rules may open for comment throughout the week.

Seeking pilot districts for GoLearn, Ohio’s Collaborative Course Catalog

GoLearn, Ohio’s Collaborative Course Catalog, is in development and will be released for pilot participation in September. INFOhio has partnered with g2o, based in Dublin, Ohio, on the development of the platform with input from INFOhio's GoLearn user group.

GoLearn will give Ohio districts the ability to offer open seats in their courses to students from other schools and districts across the state via distance learning. With GoLearn, Ohio's schools will be able to offer more choices to their students while keeping those students in the safety of their local school buildings and in the care and supervision of educators they know.

Sources of Strength Secondary Program – Training of the Trainer

Sources of Strength is hosting a Sources Secondary Program Training of the Trainer Oct. 2-5 in Columbus. This no cost, four-day training is intended for adults who will be implementing Sources of Strength in grades 7 through 12. Registration is now open.

Buckeye Children’s and Teen Book Awards voting open through Nov. 10

The Buckeye Children’s and Teen Book Awards is Ohio’s readers’ choice book award program for students in grades K-12. Created in 1981, it is one of the few readers’ choice awards in which students make all the nominations and vote for the winners. The 2023 voting period continues through Nov. 10 at www.bcbookaward.info.
