Parents will get a detailed look at how well local schools are educating their children with today’s release of the second set of grades on the annual Ohio Department of Education’s Ohio School Report Cards.
Ohioans are invited to participate in the Ohio Department of Education’s periodic update of Ohio’s Learning Standards, beginning with a review of standards in English language arts and mathematics. Through April 5, Ohio educators, parents and community members may submit comments and suggestions regarding these standards by completing an online survey.
The Ohio Department of Education said today that nearly 99 percent of students took the state tests last school year (2014-2015).
Forty-seven recipients will receive awards totaling $775,000 through the National School Lunch Program Equipment Assistance Grant.
