State Superintendent of Public Instruction Richard A. Ross today named an impartial three-member panel to advise the department as it develops a new system for evaluating charter school authorizers.
Eighty-two community partnerships will share more than $6.8 million as part of Ohio’s new Community Connectors school mentorship program. In all, the state received 192 applications for funding and each application included a business, civic and values-based partner organization.
The school year just ended, but many homeschool and nonpublic students in grades 7-12 are already looking forward to next school year by making sure they have the opportunity to take college courses when school begins in August.
