Columbus, OH – The State Board of Education will conduct the public portion of its monthly meeting on Oct. 8 and 9, at the Ohio School for the Deaf, 500 Morse Road, Columbus. Sessions begin at 8:30 a.m. each day.
COLUMBUS – Carole Morbitzer, a mathematics teacher at Hamilton Township High School, was announced as the 2013 Ohio Teacher of the Year Wednesday evening as part of the schools “Volley for the Cure” event, in conjunction with the school’s volleyball game.

Adults opt for new benefits that come with testing on computer
(COLUMBUS) In striving to provide more adult learners throughout the state with a high school credential and basic technology skills, several testing centers in Ohio are partnering with GED Testing Service to offer the GED test on computer. Online registration and scheduling are already available to test-takers and testing will begin today.
COLUMBUS, OH - On April 26, 2012, the Ohio Department of Education, Office for Exceptional Children, will hold a public hearing on the “Complaint Process” that must be used in administering programs and services for children with disabilities. The hearing is held pursuant to 34 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Sections 300.165 and 300.509.
