Ohio took the next step to help adults ages 22 or older earn high school diplomas. Today, Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, Columbus State Community College and North Central State College received awards totaling $750,000 to help contact potential students and help them earn high diplomas and free job training for in-demand careers at the same time.
After more than 40 years in public education, Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. Richard A. Ross today announced his planned retirement on Dec. 31, 2015. Ross has served as state superintendent since March 2013.
