The State Board of Education will conduct its monthly meeting starting at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 7 and 8 at the Ohio Department of Education, 25 S. Front Street, Columbus.
More Ohio students are taking and passing Advanced Placement Exams than previous years and the growth in Ohio is exceeding that of the nation as a whole. In addition, African-American and Hispanic students are showing double digit growth in the number of exams taken and passed, exceeding national participation and performance rates for these student populations.
